I'm very pleased with the work of Capitol Steel. We had a major roof collapse and were in a panic to get back up and running. We called Jeff and Mel from Capitol and they were on the plane ASAP to come to The Pas and scope out the work.
We had used Capitol before in a smaller collapse and had no problem with the work or time to fix.

Once the two had made their initial look at the scope of the work the wheels were put in motion to line up and secure a crane for the job and good thing or we would have lost time waiting.
From start to finish Capitol has been on top of job. If it had not been for their quick response we could have lost several months before being up and running.

Quality of work,cost and timing is everything in today's industry to stay operating.
Capitol is one company that is on top of them all.
I would use them again and highly recommend them to any Company.

As a building manager of the MTS Centre, in one of the busiest sports and entertainment buildings in North America I can really appreciate a company that can provide professional services - on time and on budget. I would specifically like to mention Capitol Steel. Towards the opening date of our building (Nov 2004), Capitol was given the challenge of designing our upper seating draping system. This is basically a large masking system with steel tubes supporting black draping that hides our upper level seating when not in use. This system needs to retract many times per year so to accommodate Capitol’s team designed, built and assembled an intricate system of cables and pulleys that not only works great, it is fast and safe for employees to operate.

They had a very short lead time however this project was completed on time and on budget.
I was also impressed with the after sales service that Capitol Steel provided.
Follow up phone calls and periodic visits gave me great comfort.

We have contracted Capitol Steel for many other jobs in the building.
They have always been professional, quick and seem to genuinely care about the customer.

I consider Capitol Steel a part of our building team and would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody be it for new construction, retrofit or small projects.

Capitol Steel Corporation and their Field Supervisor, Mel Trumbla were on site at Tolko Industries, The Pas, Manitoba during the past year working on several projects, including building girder/purlin reinforcing, structural steel construction, and fabrication and installation of various materials handling projects.
